East Point provides Festive season update

As the festive season gets underway, East Point has geared up construction and welcomed more tenant openings this past month. Construction will resume early 2016.

“Construction has certainly progressed over the last month,” says Marietjie Pienaar, East Point Centre Manager. “The outside cladding around Entrance 1 is looking particularly eye-catching while progress can be seen daily at the new Entrance 2.”

The western passage, linking Toys R Us to East Point has been completed and the new ablutions, at the end of the passage, are now available for public use. The following shops can easily be accessed via Entrance 1: Toys R Us via the new passage, 3@1, V-Cell Clinix, Fashion Fusion, Nino’s, Nike, Pick n Pay Liquor and Pick n Pay itself. Pick n Pay can also still be accessed near Dischem.

In the passage opposite Pick n Pay, fashion brands Levi’s and Le Coq Sportif treated shoppers to impressive openings this month while Mr Pet is set to begin trading soon.

“The temporary entrance is still available to access stores on the eastern side of the mall and we will see Parrots reopening soon while the parking is now 90% complete,” says Pienaar. “In January we expect Entrance 2 to be open completely, parking to be complete and the food court will start taking shape.”

“Many of our tenants have taken up their permanent placements within the mall. Should shoppers require assistance as to the whereabouts of their favourite stores, they will be able to ask our friendly Help Assistants, who will be available throughout East Point during the festive season,” concludes Pienaar.

“We look forward to bringing our shoppers an enhanced customer experience this festive season and would like to wish our shoppers, tenants and stakeholders a Merry Christmas and may 2016 be a prosperous and rewarding year for everyone!”
